About forum

November 11, 2008, at the initiative of the international environmental network “School Project for Application of Resources and Energy” (SPARE), is declared the International Day of Energy Saving. The decision to establish this holiday was made in April 2008 at the international meeting of SPARE coordinators held in Kazakhstan.

In his address, the Head of State set tasks for the further development of the country’s resource potential and severization of requirements for energy efficiency. Issues of energy saving and energy efficiency are an integral part of ecology, environmental protection and rational use of natural resources.

The International Energy Saving Forum is timed to the celebration of the International Day of Energy Saving. In 2019, the Forum will be held for the second time. The Forum will help to establish useful contacts and effective business communication between representatives of state bodies, akimats, large industrial enterprises, energy audit and energy service companies and experts from near and far abroad.
